1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using My Inner Circle, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “My Inner Circle,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service. No separate legal organization name or physical business address is currently published for the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
My Inner Circle supports young people, including people transitioning from foster care. The current service does not verify age or provide a guardian-consent workflow. You may use the service only if you can legally agree to these terms or if a parent, guardian, caseworker, or authorized organization has approved your use when that approval is required.
Provide accurate account information, keep your password and device secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.
3. Using My Inner Circle
You may use the service for lawful, personal, and community-support purposes. You may not:
- harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or endanger another person;
- post unlawful, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or deliberately harmful content;
- share another person’s private information or documents without permission;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or bypass access controls;
- use the service for fraud, spam, commercial scraping, or illegal activity;
- misrepresent a resource, emergency service, professional qualification, or official affiliation; or
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable steps to protect users and the service.
4. Your content and documents
You keep ownership of content and documents you submit. You confirm that you have the right to submit them and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights. Do not upload documents or personal information that you do not have permission to store.
You give My Inner Circle a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, display, transmit, and process your content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, safety, legal, and recordkeeping needs.
Community posts, comments, forum content, profile display information, and related activity can be seen by signed-in members. Saved contacts and uploaded documents are intended for your account, subject to authorized administrative access needed to operate and secure the service.
5. Our service and intellectual property
My Inner Circle and its interface, branding, design, software, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its branding to you. Third-party names, logos, and content belong to their owners.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information the service handles and how it is used, stored, and shared. By using My Inner Circle, you acknowledge those practices.
7. Resources and third-party services
My Inner Circle includes links, phone numbers, addresses, and information from community organizations, government programs, hotlines, websites, and other third parties. We review and monitor some resource information, but third parties can change their services, eligibility rules, hours, availability, or contact details without notice.
We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee that every resource is accurate, complete, available, appropriate, or safe. Confirm important information directly with the provider. Your use of another service is governed by that service’s terms and privacy practices.
8. Emergency and professional-services disclaimer
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency service. My Inner Circle is not an emergency-response service and does not monitor accounts or messages for emergencies. It is not a replacement for 911, crisis services, a caseworker, guardian, attorney, doctor, therapist, or other qualified professional.
Information in the app is for general support and organization. It is not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or case-management advice. Do not delay seeking professional help because of information found in the service.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep My Inner Circle available and useful, but the service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued. Features, resources, or content may be added, removed, or updated. We do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe an account violates these terms, creates a safety or security risk, harms another person, or exposes the service to legal risk. Where practical, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. Serious or urgent situations may require immediate action.
You may stop using the service at any time. To request account deletion, email calvin.mackey@gmail.com from your account email with the subject “Account deletion request” and include your display name and account email. Do not send your password or sensitive documents. The service does not currently provide a complete in-app account-deletion control.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, My Inner Circle is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties about uninterrupted operation, specific outcomes, the accuracy of third-party resources, or whether the service will meet every need. Some laws do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, My Inner Circle and the people who operate it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, or profits arising from use of or inability to use the service. We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or other obligations imposed by law.
Because the service supports people who may be in vulnerable situations, nothing in these terms should be read to discourage anyone from contacting emergency services, a caseworker, a guardian, legal counsel, or another qualified professional.
13. Responsibility for misuse
If your deliberate unlawful misuse of the service causes a third-party claim or direct loss, you are responsible for that conduct to the extent permitted by law. This does not require you to cover claims caused by My Inner Circle’s own misconduct, and it does not limit rights that cannot be waived.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law of the state where the operator of My Inner Circle is legally based, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live. Because the operator’s legal name and location are not currently published, a specific state and court venue are not stated here. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will change the “Last updated” date and may provide an in-app notice for significant changes. If you continue using the service after updated terms take effect, you agree to the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
16. Contact
